STUPID BEATING HEART

I made a promise, a promise that I have to keep
But this stupid beating heart won’t let me.
What we have is so full of shared dreams, so annoyingly utopian…
We love each other, I guess, but not in the same way.
Why everything has to be so complicated…
I’m the stupid one here, I know I was the one who settled the rules, I know I was the one who agreed on never mixing our feelings.
